Tarpon schools are not as prevalent but a few fish can still be encountered. Snook, False Albacore (Bonitos) and Kingfish are all still very strong. Permit fishing can be very good. Calm winds and an abundance of fish make August an awesome fly fishing month. Trout & Redfish on the flats still good.
