Populations of these fish in our area are steadily growing. They can be caught all year round but winter months are best (November through March). Redfish in our area are targetable; however most will be caught as incidental catches while fishing for Snook &Trout. They are great fighters and it always brings a smile to folks' faces to hear their drumming.
