Are available all year round. Best times are April through June and September through November (when it's not so hot). They are targeted on the inside over grass flats. These fish are relatively easy to catch and fun for all, especially younger anglers. Large Trout (over 7 lbs) are called “Gators”. Gator hunting is best in April and May.
